TOTAL Care Act

This bill requires the Department of Defense to start a five-year test program for women enrolled in TRICARE Prime. Under this program, women can get obstetrical and gynecological care without needing a referral first. Normally, TRICARE Prime requires people to get a referral from their main doctor before seeing specialists. The test program would let women choose an obstetrical or gynecological doctor as an additional main doctor under the TRICARE program.
