USPS Subpoena Authority Act

This bill gives the U.S. Postal Service more power to issue subpoenas when investigating crimes that involve the mail. The new subpoena authority would cover violations related to controlled substances and hazardous materials that are sent through the mail. The bill also allows the Chief Postal Inspector to approve subpoenas, expanding who can make these decisions within the Postal Service.
