JUDGES Act of 2025

This bill creates 64 new federal district court judge positions across 14 states over 10 years, with most going to California (20), Texas (13), and Florida (9). It also adds two new locations where courts must hold sessions - College Station, Texas and El Centro, California. The bill requires government offices to report on court workloads and detention space, and makes judicial staffing recommendations available online.
