Rebuild America’s Health Care Schools Act of 2025

This bill changes Medicare rules about how hospitals get paid back for training nursing and other health students. Right now, hospitals can get Medicare money to cover training costs, but only if the training happens at the hospital or very close to it. The bill would let hospitals get this money back even when students train at other places, as long as those places are connected to the hospital through ownership or control. The bill also says Medicare must give back any money it took away from hospitals for these costs in the past six years.
