No Dollars to Uyghur Forced Labor Act

What this bill does

AI plain-language summary

This bill stops the State Department and U.S. Agency for International Development from spending money on policies, programs, or contracts that knowingly use goods from China's Xinjiang region or from companies connected to forced labor there. The ban covers goods directly from Xinjiang, companies that get materials from Xinjiang, and companies involved with forced labor from that region. The State Department can skip this rule if it tells Congress and gets written promises that program partners won't use goods from Xinjiang and will create systems to follow the ban.
