United States Commission on International Religious Freedom Reauthorization Act of 2026

This bill extends the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom so it can keep operating through 2028. The commission is an independent government group that watches how religious freedom is treated around the world, looks at U.S. government policies related to religious freedom, and suggests changes to those policies. Right now, the commission is only approved to operate until December 11, 2026, and this bill would let it continue beyond that date.
