United States Commission on International Religious Freedom Reauthorization Act of 2026

This bill extends the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom so it can keep operating through 2028. The commission is an independent government body that watches how religious freedom is treated around the world, looks at U.S. government policies related to this issue, and suggests changes. Right now, the commission is only approved to operate through 2026, and this bill would give it two more years.
