Deport Alien Gang Members Act

This bill would make people who are not U.S. citizens unable to enter the United States if they are members of criminal gangs or have helped with gang activities. People already in the U.S. who are gang members or have participated in gang activities could be deported and must be held in detention. These individuals would not be eligible for asylum, temporary protected status, special immigrant juvenile visas, or parole, unless they are helping the government with law enforcement. The bill defines a criminal gang as a group of five or more people whose main purpose is committing crimes or that has been officially designated as a criminal gang by the Department of Homeland Security.
