NTIA Policy and Cybersecurity Coordination Act

This bill creates a new Office of Policy Development and Cybersecurity within the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA). The office would analyze and develop policies related to internet and communications technologies. Its work would include creating policies that promote innovation and competition in communications and technology markets, improve security against cyber attacks while encouraging innovation, and help bring new communications technologies to market. The bill also changes the title of an existing NTIA position to Associate Administrator for Policy Development and Cybersecurity, who would lead this new office.
