Consumer Safety Technology Act

This bill creates a test program for the Consumer Product Safety Commission to use artificial intelligence technology. The AI would help with at least one of these tasks: tracking injury trends from products, finding product dangers, watching for sales of recalled products, or identifying unsafe imported products. The bill also requires two reports - one from the Department of Commerce about how blockchain technology can protect consumers, and another from the Federal Trade Commission about stopping unfair practices with digital tokens.
