Endangered Species Transparency and Reasonableness Act of 2025

This bill changes how government agencies decide if animals are endangered or threatened species. The Fish and Wildlife Service and National Marine Fisheries Service must publish online the scientific data they use to make these decisions. The bill says that any data submitted by state, tribal, or county governments automatically counts as the best available scientific data. Before deciding if a species is endangered or threatened, these agencies must share all their data with affected states. The government must also create an online database showing how much money the federal government spends on court cases related to the Endangered Species Act.
