Fair Access to Co-ops for Veterans Act of 2025

This bill allows the Department of Veterans Affairs to guarantee home loans for veterans who want to buy shares in cooperative housing, where owning shares gives them the right to live in a single family unit. The VA would charge its regular fee plus an additional 3.25% of the loan amount, and would guarantee up to 25% of loans over $144,000. The bill also requires the VA to let veterans know about this loan option through advertising and guidance.
