To amend the Child Nutrition Act of 1966 to set maximum monthly allowances for milk under the special supplemental nutrition program for women, infants, and children.

This bill increases the amount of milk that people can get each month through the WIC program. WIC provides food assistance to pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and children up to age 5 who meet income requirements and are at nutritional risk. Currently, WIC participants can get 12 to 16 quarts of milk per month depending on their category, but this bill would increase that to 16 to 24 quarts per month. The bill applies to children ages 1-4 and to pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and new mothers who aren't breastfeeding.
