Medicaid Provider Screening Accountability Act

This bill requires state Medicaid programs to check whether healthcare providers were kicked out of Medicare, other state Medicaid programs, or the Children's Health Insurance Program before enrolling them. States must use certain databases to do these checks when providers first sign up and again when they renew their enrollment. After providers are enrolled, states must continue checking these databases at least once a month.
