U.S. Engagement in Sudanese Peace Act

This bill requires the President to put sanctions on foreign people or groups who have committed war crimes, blocked humanitarian aid, or violated weapons restrictions in Sudan since April 2023. The sanctions can include freezing their money and property, blocking their visas, or banning loans to them. The bill also allows the State Department to help support an international peacekeeping force in Sudan and stops the U.S. from selling major military equipment to countries that support either side of Sudan's military conflict. It extends the position of a special U.S. representative for Sudan through 2029.
