Full-Year Continuing Appropriations and Extensions Act, 2025

This law provides funding for most federal agencies for the rest of the 2025 fiscal year, generally keeping spending at 2024 levels, to prevent a government shutdown. It also extends many health-related programs through 2025, including funding for community health centers, diabetes programs, extra Medicare payments for small rural hospitals and ambulance services, telehealth options, and programs that help young people learn about sexual health. Beyond health care, the law extends other authorities such as protections against drone threats, cybersecurity programs for federal agencies, a whistleblower program for reporting financial wrongdoing, and the classification of fentanyl-related substances as controlled drugs.
