To direct the Secretary of Defense to conduct a study relating to obesity in the Armed Forces, and for other purposes.

This bill requires the Defense Health Agency to make military obesity reports more transparent and frequent. The Department of Defense must study and report to Congress on how obesity contributes to injuries and medical discharges among service members, the annual costs of obesity-related problems, how to buy healthier food for military facilities, and military families' access to healthy food. The Department of Defense must also report on how rising obesity levels among active-duty military members affects national security readiness.
