Federal Freeze Act

This bill would freeze pay for all federal employees for one year, meaning they could not receive any pay raises during that time. It would also stop federal agencies from hiring new employees for one year, except for jobs related to law enforcement, public safety, or national security. Within three years, each federal agency would have to reduce its workforce by 5% compared to when the bill was passed.
