Pay Our Military Act

This bill would make sure military members and certain Defense Department workers continue getting paid during a government shutdown in fiscal year 2025. It covers active duty military, reserves doing training, and civilian employees and contractors who support them. The Coast Guard would also be included when it's part of the Department of Homeland Security. The payments would continue until either Congress passes regular funding bills or until January 1, 2026, whichever comes first.
