Red Light Act

This bill would require the Department of Transportation to stop giving certain federal highway money to states starting in 2023. States would lose this funding if they have laws that allow people who are in the United States illegally to get driver's licenses or other ID cards. The funding that would be withheld includes money for highway performance, highway safety improvements, and air quality programs.
