Edith Nourse Rogers STEM Scholarship Opportunity Act

This bill changes the rules for the Edith Nourse Rogers STEM Scholarship, which gives extra education benefits to veterans studying science, technology, engineering, math, or health care. The bill removes the requirement that veterans must have less than 180 days of education benefits left to qualify for the scholarship. It also reduces by 25% the number of college credits veterans need to complete before they can apply. When there isn't enough money available, the Department of Veterans Affairs can give priority to veterans who have used most of their regular education benefits and those studying certain fields like engineering.
