Information and Communication Technology Strategy Act

This bill requires a government agency called the National Telecommunications and Information Administration to study the supply chain for communication technology and come up with a plan to help trustworthy technology companies stay competitive. The report must identify which technologies are most important to the U.S. economy, figure out how much U.S. communication providers rely on technology from companies that are not considered trusted, and lay out what the federal government would need to do to support trusted companies and reduce reliance on untrusted ones.
