Protect Our Military Families’ 2nd Amendment Rights Act

This bill expands gun purchase rules for military families. Right now, licensed gun dealers can sell or ship firearms and ammunition to active-duty military members stationed outside the country, and this bill extends that same right to their spouses. It also says that for federal gun laws, active-duty service members and their spouses can be considered residents of the state where they have their legal residence, where their permanent duty station is, or where they live and commute to their duty station from.
