Veterans First Act of 2025

This bill takes away $2 billion in unused money from the U.S. Agency for International Development. It then gives that same $2 billion to the Department of Veterans Affairs to provide grants to states. States can use these grants to buy or build new nursing homes and living facilities for veterans, or to update and improve existing veteran care facilities in state-run homes.
