Major Richard Star Act

This bill would let veterans who have a disability related to combat receive both their military retirement pay and their disability payments at the same time, without having one payment reduced because of the other. It also covers veterans who served fewer than 20 years. Right now, veterans who get both types of pay have their retirement pay reduced to account for the disability payments, and this bill would end that reduction.
