Capitol Remembrance Act

This bill requires the Architect of the Capitol to create and install a permanent exhibit about the January 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol building. The exhibit must be placed in a prominent location and include damaged property from the attack when possible, photographs from that day, and a plaque honoring Capitol Police and other law enforcement who protected the building, people who died or were injured, and staff who helped restore the Capitol afterward. The exhibit must be completed within two years of the bill becoming law.
