Disabled Veterans Housing Support Act

This bill would change how veterans' disability pay is counted when they apply for Community Development Block Grant program assistance. Currently, disability compensation from military service counts as income when determining if a veteran qualifies for help. Under this bill, that disability pay would not count as income for eligibility purposes. The bill also requires the Government Accountability Office to study how veterans' disability compensation is treated across all Housing and Urban Development programs and report on any inconsistencies.
