Strengthening Oversight of DHS Intelligence Act

This bill requires the Department of Homeland Security to better protect people's privacy and civil rights when handling intelligence information. DHS officials must make sure intelligence information is shared and stored in ways that protect these rights. The bill also requires DHS to train its intelligence workers on civil rights, privacy rights, and proper information practices, especially those who share or review intelligence information.
