Ensuring Workers Get PAID Act of 2025

This bill officially establishes a program run by the Department of Labor that lets employers check their own records and report when they have failed to pay workers the correct minimum wage or overtime pay. Instead of going to court, employers can apply to this program by showing what they owe, and the Department of Labor checks the math and oversees a deal where workers get paid what they are owed. If workers accept the payment through this program, they give up their right to sue their employer over those same unpaid wages.
