To establish the Commission on National Agricultural Statistics Service Modernization to modernize the data collection and reporting processes of the National Agricultural Statistics Service, and for other purposes.

This bill creates a commission to study how to improve and update the way the National Agricultural Statistics Service collects farm data. The National Agricultural Statistics Service conducts the Census of Agriculture and provides official statistics on farm production. The commission will have 11 members from government agencies and Congress, and they must write a report within two years with recommendations for changes to make data collection better.
