Women and Lung Cancer Research and Preventive Services Act of 2025

This bill requires the Department of Health and Human Services to look into how the government can speed up research, prevention, and awareness efforts related to lung cancer in women and underserved communities. The review must look at what research already exists, find gaps in knowledge, and identify new ways for different agencies to work together on understanding the causes of lung cancer and improving screening, diagnosis, and treatment. It also must include recommendations for a national plan for lung cancer screening and a public education campaign.
