HOV Lanes for Heroes Act

This bill would let public authorities allow disabled veterans to use HOV (high occupancy vehicle) lanes even if they're driving alone. The veteran would need to have a special license plate, registered transponder, or other qualifying identification on their vehicle. Public authorities could not charge the disabled veteran a toll for using these HOV lanes.
