Healthy Technology Act of 2025

This bill would allow artificial intelligence or machine learning technology to prescribe drugs to patients. Currently, only licensed doctors and other healthcare practitioners can prescribe certain medications. Under this bill, AI or machine learning systems could prescribe drugs if they are allowed to do so by state law and if they are approved by federal authorities that oversee medical devices and products.
