Pit River Land Transfer Act of 2025

The Pit River Land Transfer Act of 2025 would put about 604 acres of land in California into trust for the Pit River Tribe. The Department of the Interior would take control of about 584 acres of federal land currently managed by the Forest Service, plus about 40 acres of land the tribe already owns. This combined land would become part of the tribe's reservation, but gambling would not be allowed on any of the land taken into trust.
