Veterans’ True Choice Act of 2025

This bill would let certain veterans get health care through TRICARE Select, which is a military health program. The veterans who could use this include those with disabilities from their military service, former prisoners of war, Purple Heart recipients, Medal of Honor recipients, those discharged because of disability, and those getting disability payments. The Department of Veterans Affairs would pay the Department of Defense for the costs of covering these veterans. Veterans using this program could not get medical care from both the military and VA systems at the same time.
