Romance Scam Prevention Act

This bill requires dating apps and websites to warn users when they get messages from people who have been banned from the service for fraud. The warning must tell users the banned person's username, when they last talked to that person, and that the banned user might be using a fake identity or trying to scam people. The notice must also remind users not to send money or share financial information with other users and provide tips on avoiding online fraud. The Federal Trade Commission and state attorneys general can enforce these rules.
