EASE Act of 2025

This bill requires a government office that tests new health care ideas to try out a program where doctors who specialize in certain types of care can treat patients in rural areas using technology like video calls, without the patients having to travel. The program would serve people covered by Medicare, Medicaid, or the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP). The program must use at least one nonprofit network made up of at least 50 rural or community health centers and hospitals, and at least half of the providers in the network must be in rural areas. The specialty doctors must also work together with each patient's regular primary care doctor.
