Aviation Education Remaining Operational Act

This bill requires the Federal Aviation Administration to keep its training academy in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma running during government shutdowns or emergency furloughs. The academy trains air traffic controllers and provides other aviation education. During shutdowns, FAA employees who work at the academy and students completing training there would be exempt from furlough and required to keep working.
