Reentry Act of 2025

This bill would let Medicaid pay for medical care given to people in jail or prison during the 30 days before they are released. Currently, Medicaid does not cover medical services for incarcerated people. The bill also requires a government commission to write a report about healthcare access and quality for people who are incarcerated, including how this change affects them.
