Women in Agriculture Act

This bill requires the Department of Agriculture to create a new position called the Women Farmers and Ranchers Liaison. This person would speak up for women farmers and ranchers when dealing with the Department of Agriculture and help more women get leadership jobs there. The liaison would also write yearly reports to Congress about government programs for women-owned farms. The bill allows grants for creating farm equipment designed to fit women better and gives priority to loans and grants that help with childcare in farming and rural areas.
