Strengthening Cyber Resilience Against State-Sponsored Threats Act

This bill creates a task force led by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency to help government agencies work together against Chinese state-sponsored cyber threats, including a group called Volt Typhoon. The task force will coordinate efforts between agencies like the Department of Defense, Department of Energy, and Department of Agriculture to detect and respond to these cyber threats. Various government agencies must share analysis and other information with the task force to help it do its job. The task force must report to Congress annually for six years about cyber threats and recommendations for better protection, with the first report due within 540 days of the task force being established.
