Trade Review Act of 2025

This bill says that when the President places new or higher tariffs on goods coming into the United States, Congress must be told about it within 48 hours, including why the tariff was put in place and how it might affect American businesses and consumers. Any tariff the President puts in place would only last 60 days unless Congress votes to approve it and that approval is signed into law. Congress can also vote to end a tariff at any time by passing a resolution of disapproval into law.
