Protecting Military Installations and Ranges Act of 2025

This bill creates new rules for when foreign people or companies from Russia, China, Iran, or North Korea want to buy or lease land in the United States. If they want property within 100 miles of a military base, or within 50 miles of military training areas or special airspace, a government committee called CFIUS must review the purchase first. The bill also says that the Defense Department and Transportation Department cannot approve certain projects involving these foreign buyers until CFIUS finishes its review.
