Child Care Nutrition Enhancement Act of 2025

This bill changes how the government pays for meals and snacks at day care homes through a program called CACFP. Currently, day care homes in low-income areas get higher payments than other day care homes, but this bill would give all day care homes the same payment rates. The bill also adds an extra 10 cents for each meal and snack served. Additionally, day care providers would be able to get reimbursed for meals they serve to their own children while caring for other children, without having to meet income requirements.
