Preserving Safe Communities by Ending Swatting Act of 2025

This bill would make it a federal crime to intentionally give false or misleading information that could reasonably be expected to cause an emergency response. The false information must indicate that criminal conduct happened or that there is a threat to health or safety. This practice is commonly called "swatting."
