SAVE Our Poultry Act

This bill makes research on a serious bird flu disease called highly pathogenic avian influenza a high priority for the Department of Agriculture. The bill allows the Department of Agriculture to give grants to certain colleges and universities to study this bird flu. The research would focus on creating better vaccines for poultry and improving safety procedures for poultry farmers.
