Stopping a Rogue President on Trade Act

This bill would cancel several executive orders that placed tariffs on imports coming into the United States, including a 10% tariff on most imports, a 25% tariff on most imports from Canada, and a 25% tariff on most imports from Mexico. It would also require the President to get approval from Congress before putting new tariffs or trade restrictions on imports. However, there are some exceptions to this rule — for example, the President could still act without Congress to place tariffs on imported products that are being sold at unfairly low prices or that are being unfairly supported by foreign governments.
