GRAPE Act

The GRAPE Act requires the federal crop insurance program to research and develop insurance policies that protect table grapes, wine grapes, and juice grapes from losses caused by freezing weather. If the research produces a policy that meets federal requirements, it must be made available to grape growers. The federal crop insurance program must also report to Congress about this research and any insurance policy they create.
