VARIANCE Act

This bill would let commercial trucks carrying dry bulk goods drive on Interstate highways while carrying 10% more weight per axle than currently allowed. Instead of the current weight limits on truck axles, these trucks could carry up to 110% of the maximum weight that is normally permitted on any axle or group of axles.
