Restoring Rights of Physicians to Own Hospitals Act

This bill changes rules about doctors owning hospitals. Currently, doctor-owned hospitals must meet special requirements under a law called the Stark law, like limits on expanding rooms or beds and rules about telling patients about doctor ownership. The bill removes these extra requirements that were put in place around 2010. This would make it easier for doctors to own hospitals without following these additional rules.
