Preventing Hospital Overbilling of Medicare Act

This bill changes how Medicare pays hospitals for services provided at locations away from the main hospital campus. It removes some special payment rules that currently apply to these off-campus locations. The bill also requires healthcare providers to use different identification numbers when billing insurance companies for services at these off-campus locations.
